Plagued by thoughts of mortality, the chef, photographer, traveler, and philosopher, Hiroki Nakayama prepares a record that will affirm his unique existence even after he departs from this world. Proof of his life, an alibi.

Hiroki Nakayama traveled many countries over two years as a backpacker, hitchhiker, cyclist, horseman and photographer. He is always hoping to connect with the world, always dreaming of traveling. Yet, even he must stay in the same place sometimes, and travel through the people moving around him. Hiroki currently owns and operates the cafe/bar Nara cON-temporary in Azabujuban, Tokyo, welcoming visitors with stories to share and experiences to exchange. He knows how difficult and intriguing the creative process can be, and finds the life of creators especially beautiful.

Jeremy Jangord sees the world as one massive, complex, cinematic masterpiece. All of us are the main characters in our respective storylines, but we are also the supporting players in each other’s. Our narratives are infinitely interwoven. Jeremy’s particular tale began in Los Angeles, but unexpected twists and turns led him to Japan, the home of Ozu. The cultural and artistic shock of quiet, congenial, contemporary Tokyo had a profound impact on his photographic style, and his work has grown increasingly more intimate over the years. Now his passion for film, friends, and foreign cultures has brought him on a personal quest to explore the film consciousness of Hong Kong.

いい上映会だった。
きっと集まった人々がよかったんだろうな。
香 港、すごくいい雰囲気だった。昔のパリはこんなだったのかな　と思わせるような佇まいがあった。アートシーンにおいてね。時間が限られていて数件のスタジ オやギャラリーしか訪問できなかったし、表面的なところをサラッと見てきただけだけど、少し腰を据えてみたいと思わせるような街だった。
